After a couple of decades of activism for peace, the environment, and social justice I was appointed to the Point Arena District School Board in 1999 and then was elected in 2001 and 2003. I joined the Green Party in 2001. I have helped facilitate Green Party county and state meetings, teleconferences, and plenaries. I served on the national committee from 2002 until 2004. I have worked on a number of campaigns to elect Green Party candidates and did a fair amount of work for California and national committees.
