Hi.

I am applying to be a CA delegate to the National Green Party.

I have been a registered Green since the early 1990s, and very active in our local for a dozen years. Over the years I’ve attended a few plenaries, and met infrequently with the tri-county greens (San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura counties). I have been elected to the county council since at least 1998.

I’m proud to say that I’ve been a main organizer for most all of our events here, including our many fundraisers for local as well as for statewide candidates. At my home, I’ve hosted candidates for Governor- Dan Hamburg and Peter Camejo- and for President- Jack Kovel and David Cobb-, plus setting up their interviews on local radio, public radio, and television .
I consider myself a longtime activist; much of my interest has been focused on the ethical treatment of animals. One of the chief factors which drew me to the Greens is their clearly written platform on animal rights’ issues.
