1) Please list any prior or current positions, related experience,
and/or personal and professional skills within of the Green Party that you
have, that apply to this position.
I am currently a member of the GPOMendocino County Council. I was the Green candidate
for Congress in CA District 1 in 2008, and got the most votes of any third party
Congressional candidate in the country- 8.4% overall. Currently, I'm working
on forming a Green Ocean Protection Coalition, to protect the North Coast from
the triple threat of oil drilling, wave generators, and naval target practice.

In '06 and now, I am organizing Green candidates for Congress across the country
into coalitions- the Longhouse Coalition and the New Broom Coalition. Both these
coalitions, which have some overlap, include independents, progressive Democrats,
and people of other parties, so that we can work together across party lines.
Most candidates are Greens.
I've been a peace activist for many years, organizing to save the ABM treaty
(a failed effort), ratify the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, strengthen the NonProliferation
Treaty and push the US toward observing Article VI, by reducing our nuclear weapons
stockpile.
I also write extensively on the internet. My articles are archived at http://www.opednews.com/author/author20.html
3) Please describe your vision for serving as GPUS Delegate including addressing
the job description for GPUS Delegate.
I continue to believe we can best build the Green party and serve the public
by concentrating on Congressional races. With Greens in Congress in 2010, Obama's
efforts to contain climate change and global warming would receive a big boost.
