Statement of purpose/qualifications to serve as a National Alternate Member of California's delegation to the national Green Party.

I am a currently a County Council member of the Fresno County Green Party and have been a member since the 1990's. I have shown support for various and diverse I have served as a delegate for Fresno for over 2 years. I have been involved in activism for over 20 years for Womens Rights, Central America, against the insanity of Nuclear Destruction, the Elderly, Single Payer Health Care and involved in local elections as precint worker. I am currently Vice-President and editor of the monthly page in our local progressive monthly newspaper, the Community Alliance, for the Fresno Center for Nonviolence, Vice-President in Publicity for Peace Fresno and member of Central California Criminal Justice Committee.

I have many freinds of diverse political stripes that continue to think I'm lost and that I'm crazy to be a Green. So I tell them when I was younger and tired of all of the political garbage, I made up my own ideas of what a political party should be. A few years later, a freind showed me the 10 Key Values and I immediatley realized that was what I was looking for in a political party.

I will be proud to be serve as a National Alternate Member of California's delegation to the national Green Party and would do more if I can and will do what I can to help stop the madness and sickeness in our land.
