1) Please list any prior or current positions, related experience, and/or personal and professional skills within of the Green Party that you have, that apply to this position.

I have served on the Green Party of California State Coordinating Committee for several years, have been a County Councilor on the Alameda Green Party County Council since 2004, and have been an active Green in the Bay Area since 2000.  I currently am a member of the Bylaws Committee.  Locally, I maintain the website for the Alameda Green Party County Council, www.acgreens.org and am responsible for posting event notices to the site, and am the primary council member responsible for posting notices to our Alameda County announcement list.
 
In 2012 I assisted others on the GPCA Bylaw Committee in bringing the proposal for the Standing General Assembly (SGA) to the General Assembly and advocating for its usefulness locally.  I believe the creation of the SGA to be one of the most important ongoing projects for the Green Party of California.  I hope to continue to improve the functioning and efficiency of the GPCA through similar work in coming years, and hope to be able to devote more time to the work in  2013-15.

I have degrees in architecture and psychology and am working as a Psychology Technician at Veterans Affairs.  I am also a co-founder, along with my husband, of a solar start-up, Sun Synchrony (www.sunsynchrony.com), which is developing concentrating photovoltaic panels for the rooftop.
