7)  Discussion: Review Draft agenda for San Jose GA (State Meeting Committee) 

 

Feinstein made an oral presenation of the draft agenda as developed by the State Meeting Committee, to contain presentations by candidates for the Coordinating Committee and GPUS Delegation, confirmation of Coordinating Committee nominations for GPCA Treasurer and Liaison to Secretary of State, GPCA Budget and Strategic Plan, update on litigation to overturn Proposition 14, and various platform amendments.  The final draft for Coordinating Committee approval will be presented at its May 3 teleconference.

9)  Decision: Nominate Treasurer for GA Confirmation (Laidman)

 

Proposal (Laidman): That the Coordinating Committee nominate Doug Barnett for GPCA Treasurer, subject to confirmation by the San Jose General Assembly in June 2016.

10) Decision: Authorize General Assembly funds for USSF registration (State Meeting Committee)  

Proposal (Everette): That the Coordinating Committee authorize $200 of the San Jose General Assembly budget for purchasing discounted memberships for registered Greens.

11) Discussion: Role of GPCA before GPCA presidential preference primary election, vis-a-vis candidates seeking Green Party nomination (Everette)

Everette presented the issue and discussion entailed.
