Proposal (Feinstein): That the Coordinating Committee add an agenda item to the San Jose General Assembly agenda entitled “Decision: GPCA Elections Code”

7) Decision: Strategic Plan (Feinstein)

Proposal (Feinstein): That the GPCA include in the GPCA Strategic Plan that the Coordinating Committee will recommend to the San Jose General Assembly, that the GPCA host a presidential candidate forum at its January General Assembly; apply to host the 2017 GPUS Annual National Meeting in California. and add a campaign school/training event; and that the Coordinating Committee delegate to the State Meeting Planning Committee the task of compiling the draft based upon adding the above text to the text/format of the 2014-2016 Strategic Plan

8) Decision: Approval of Coordinating Committee Bylaws Interpretation Extending the Application Period and Shortening the Discussion Period for Coordinating Committee and GPUS Delegation elections (Feinstein) 10 minutes

Proposal: That the Coordinating Committee submit a bylaws interpretation to the San Jose General Assembly that would have a discussion period from 05/25/2015 - 06/21/2015 and voting from 06/22/2015 - 06/28/2015, and would extend the application period for Coordinating Committee and GPUS Delegation elections until May 18.

11) Discussion: Rubin vs. Bowen (Feinstein)

Feinstein reported that on April 29, the California Supreme Court refused to hear Rubin vs. Bowen http://ballot-access.org/2015/04/29/california-supreme-court-refuses-to-... and that the next step would be for the case to be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.
