Green Party of California positions on Statewide Propositions - November 2018 Election

Oakland, CA, 9/27/18 - In a move that surprised many, Democrat incumbent and U.S. Representative Barbara Lee will join in a public candidate forum with Laura Wells, the Green Party challenger for her District 13 House seat in the November 2018 General Election.

At least 27 California Greens are running in the 2018 November 6th elections.

Los Angeles, CA. 6/13/18 – The Green Party of California announced today that at least two of its candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives have advanced to the November election and will launch a strong challenge to win seats currently held by the Democratic Party.

STOCKTON, CA. 6/8/18 – The Green Party of California – whose national party remains the only major party with nationwide ballot access that accepts no corporate donations – announced that it will hold its first state meeting of 2018 over the weekend of June 9-10, in the city of Stockton in San Joaquin County.

The weekend meeting takes place at the Wentworth Education Center, Burwood Room, 2707 Transworld Drive, Stockton, CA.

San Francisco, CA – The Green Party of California (GPCA) announced today that for the first time in its three decade history, it has voted to endorse candidates from other parties in statewide elections. GPCA delegates voted by a two-thirds supermajority to allow the Greens to endorse any candidates who do not accept corporate campaign contributions, and who do not belong to a political party that accepts corporate contributions.

At least sixty-nine California Greens hold elected office as of September 2017
