Green Party section of California Elections Code signed into law

On October 10th, Governor Brown signed AB 477 into law, placing a Green Party section into the California state Elections Code for the first time.

Fourth Consecutive Young Green elected to Napa Valley College Board of Trustees

For four consecutive terms the Napa Valley College Board of Trustees will have a Green Student Trustee.
Gabriel Sanchez 19, was elected in an April 29th-30th election, for a one year term through May 2016. Sanchez served as Senator of Science, Mathematics, and Engineering in Associated Students of Napa Valley College (ASNVC) prior to running. 

Resolution: Close the Commercial Property Loophole

The Green Party of California General Assembly approved the following resolution on Saturday, January 24, 2015:

Young Green Ruscal Cayangyang appointed to the Vallejo School Board

Young Green Ruscal Cayangyang was appointed to the five-member Vallejo City Unified School District Board of Trustees, January 20th, in 3-1 vote by the Board's other four members, to fill a vacancy on the Board.

Election Report: Greens win 23 fall races in fall 2014 elections

Led by three present/former Green Mayors, 23 Greens were elected across California in November 4th elections - bringing to 64 the number of Greens holding elected office statewide, up from 60 in June 2014. Eleven of 13 Green incumbents were returned to office in November elections - 12/14 in 2014 overall.
